Release News - ESATAN-TMS 2026 is now released

ESATAN-TMS 2026 is now available to download from our website. ESATAN-TMS provides a high-productivity and powerful thermal modelling environment, supporting the complete thermal analysis process from geometry creation, radiative and thermal analysis, and post-processing of the thermal results.

ESATAN-TMS 2026 is another significant evolution of the product, providing new functionality that significantly enhances the thermal modelling capability of Workbench. The major new features are the ability to define multiple geometrical configuration in the same model as well as a significant extension on the insulation definition with the introduction of dedicated multi layer definition.

This year development also delivers a number of feature enhancements that results from discussions with and requests from our users.

ESATAN-TMS 2026 main features are outlined below:

 

Support for multiple geometry configuration in a single model

  • Ability to add geometry configuration in a single model to better support typical modelling of deployed/stowed geometries. 

Insulation property enhancement

  • Support for multi-layer definition in an insulation property to allow definition of material, thickness and optical property for as many layers as needed.

General improvement for the API

  • Introduction of a new plugin to create a custom TMD file is now provided with ESATAN-TMS 2026. This newly created TMD file can be fully used in the post-processing module. 

 Support for parallel thermal analysis runs

  • Ability to run thermal analyses in parallel mode to streamline the process of running the analysis cases.  

General improvements

  • A set of general improvements has been added to help with the modelling process, from removing the surface node for solid geometry to supporting a new overlay showing when no material/optical have been defined.
