The University of Adelaide is using ESATAN-TMS to support the development of their nano-satellite, as part of the QB50 project. In particular, ESATAN-TMS is being used for the thermal management of the satellite. It supports design decisions such as, where and how much thermal insulation to place at various critical locations around the satellite.
